The richest collection of artworks of Uzbekistan from the beginning of 20th century up to the present days, as well as a unique collection of Central Asian numismatics are presented in the Art Gallery. NBU opened wide its doors on the eve of celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2004. The interiors were designed and applied in a very classical style reminding of royal palaces. The aim of the interior design is to put an emphasis on the invaluable collcetions.
